Red Nichols Complete Brunwick Sessions, 1929 – 1930 (3CD set) The second of three 3-CD sets containing all of Red Nichols’ New York Brunswick recordings. This series includes all known takes and was remastered by Ted Kendall. The 72-page booklet common to all three sets contains extensive liner notes by Richard Sudhalter and a complete discography. In addition to Nichols, the cream of the New York jazzmen are featured on these sides, including Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Jack Teagarden, Charlie Teagarden, Babe Russin and many others.
